Senior School Science & Biology Teacher

Ashbury College is currently seeking a Senior School science teacher for grades 9 through 12 Science with a focus or specialization in Biology. We are seeking someone who:

brings genuine enthusiasm and creativity to their classroom
is comfortable and confident in leveraging technology to enhance teaching and learning,
regularly incorporates inclusive teaching practices in the classroom, and
uses practical hands-on lab work to reinforce and extend concepts taught.

A science degree, ideally specializing in biology, and experience teaching Ontario Science and/or International Baccalaureate curriculum are required as is certification with the Ontario College of Teachers. A willingness to contribute to the full life of the school is also desirable, as is bilingualism in French or other language(s).
