Senior School Science & Biology Teacher

Ashbury College is currently seeking a Senior School science teacher for grades 9 through 12 Science with a focus or specialization in Biology. We are seeking someone who:

  • brings genuine enthusiasm and creativity to their classroom
  • is comfortable and confident in leveraging technology to enhance teaching and learning,
  • regularly incorporates inclusive teaching practices in the classroom, and
  • uses practical hands-on lab work to reinforce and extend concepts taught.

A science degree, ideally specializing in biology, and experience teaching Ontario Science and/or International Baccalaureate curriculum are required as is certification with the Ontario College of Teachers.  A willingness to contribute to the full life of the school is also desirable, as is bilingualism in French or other language(s).
