It conforms to the highest international standards of language assessment and is recognized by schools, universities, global employers, immigration authorities and professional institutions.
The IELTS exam is designed to directly reflect how you will be able to use English either in academics, professional life, personal life or life abroad.
The exam is divided into four sections: reading, writing, listening and speaking. During the listening portion of the exam, you will be listening to recordings of each scenario and answering questions based on what you hear. The reading section consists of 40 questions based on a few selected readings. You will have an hour to complete this section. The writing portion also takes an hour to complete.
