On March 1, 2019 a group of 8 students, Alina Lai, Kacie Chestnut, Mercedes Fitch, Theo King, Jack Schiff, Lila Janski, Tallula Sorst, Moika Carroll Jean-Louisand and faculty member Adrian St. John from Buxton School in Williamstown, Massachusetts visited St. George’s School of Montreal as part of an educational trip to the city to learn about a wide variety if topics.  Approximately 80 Buxton students were in Montreal for the week. Their purpose was to work in small groups and to visit hospitals, schools, museums and other government and cultural sites to compile their report.

Buxton students contacted SchoolAdvice in Montreal to help them arrange a visit with a Montreal School.  We were please to assist and arranged a tour of St. George’s School in Montreal.  Head of School, Nathalie Bossé meet with the student, answered their questions and provided a tour of the High School.

The exchange was beneficial to all. Buxton learned more about Quebec education including details about the CEGEP program, unique in Quebec.  St. George’s and SchoolAdvice were interested to learn about the format of their educational trip and how the information each group collected would be shared within the entire Buxton School community.
