About SchoolAdvice Virtual Academy

Online Schools on SchoolAdvice

Individualized on-line learning.

Since 2007, SchoolAdvice has built an international reputation among families and students seeking education options for a wide array of individual needs.  Finding best fit schools and assisting families with the application and enrolment process has been, for the most part, the core of our business.  SchoolAdvice learning coaches support students enrolled with Ontario Virtual School, Virtual Elementary School, and Virtual High School.  Enrol at any time!  Study and finish school on your schedule.

SchoolAdvice is now a primary learning environment for many elementary and secondary school students in Canada.

Recent changes in Quebec’s language laws have created new restrictions on English education for CEGEP (post secondary) students. These will come into full effect in 2024-2025.  Once again families have turned to SchoolAdvice for help.  Our partnership with Ontario Virtual School (OVS) enable us to offer an online Grade 12 option in English or French.  This empowers Quebec students to graduate Grade 12 with an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) and apply directly to University.

Why Choose Online Grade 12 with SchoolAdvice?

What is Grade 12, and how does it compare to CEGEP?

Grade 12 is the final year of high school in most provinces outside Quebec and is recognized internationally as a pre-university qualification. Unlike CEGEP, which requires two years for pre-university programs, Grade 12 allows you to complete your high school education in one year, accelerating your path to university to a 4 year undergrad program.

Can I switch to Grade 12 after starting CEGEP?

Yes! Many students transition to Grade 12 after discovering that CEGEP doesn’t meet their academic or personal needs. Our online Grade 12 program offers a flexible, supportive environment tailored to your goals, helping you meet university admission requirements.

Will I qualify for university with Grade 12?

Absolutely. Grade 12 is recognized by universities across Canada and internationally. Our program is fully aligned with Ontario’s Ministry of Education curriculum, ensuring you meet the prerequisites for top institutions.

Can I take Grade 12 online if I’m living in Quebec?
