What LCBI High School says..
Nestled in the countryside on the banks of the South Saskatchewan River in Outlook, Saskatchewan, Canada, LCBI High School is a co-ed boarding school with a picturesque campus offering a learning environment second to none. Our students are instructed by fully-accredited teachers who deliver courses recognized by the Saskatchewan Ministry of Education. All courses are completely transferable to other Canadian provinces, and can be used for entrance into Canadian and American universities.
LCBI is a Christian school of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Canada. Our school provides an ecumenical environment where students are encouraged to develop their gifts as individuals while developing a sense of social responsibility and compassion for others. As part of their experience at LCBI, students volunteer their time locally and abroad to help the less fortunate – e.g., assist those in need like the elderly, shut-ins, the mentally challenged or people who simply need a helping hand. Our students also have opportunities to take part in one of LCBI’s annual missions which have included Vancouver and Victoria, BC, Mexico, Grenada and Washington, DC.
The mission of this Christian school is to provide a high quality education for youth, helping them to discover their gifts and to develop their full potential as inquiring, knowledgeable and caring members of the family of God, through a sound academic, worship, and residential life that encourages them to become active, compassionate and lifelong learners. “We Would See Jesus” John 12:21
