Located in Port Hope, Ontario, Trinity College School (TCS) is a leading co-educational boarding and day school for approximately 550 young people from Grades 5-12. Founded in 1865, the School places a balanced emphasis on academics, service learning, athletics and the arts. The School is currently looking to fill the following position for September 2018:
The preferred candidate is foremost an artist with a degree in visual arts and is skilled, qualified and passionate about teaching visual art at the secondary school level (Grades 9—12). A background in multiple mediums of the visual arts, along with proven experience teaching digital techniques, is an asset. Working within a lively community of students and educators, the position requires energy, creativity, organizational skills, collegiality and a strong commitment to, and advocacy for, the Arts. The successful candidate will be intent on providing opportunities for students to showcase their talents, be familiar with current curricular trends, and will have competency in educational technology.
A member of the Ontario College of Teachers, the ideal candidate will be fully engaged in the co-curricular life of the School.
